Yamaha Boost Technology is available with the EF3000iSEB generator and boosts the output power by adding battery voltage to the alternator when needed. The need for boost is sensed automatically and provides a 500 watt increase in power for up to 10 seconds to provide for the inrush current needs of air conditioners, power tools and other inductive electrical loads. There is a substantial advantage to you in having appliances and tools start more quickly in that their motors start and run cooler thus increasing their life.
